Industrial Revolution- the major changes in economic systems and when people moved from living and working on farms to factories
Industry- the production and sales of goods (ex. railroad industry, car industry, etc.)
Company- association, partnership, or union that carry on an industry (ex. steel company,foolocker, etc.)
Tycoon- business person of great wealth and power (ex. Rockefeller, Bill gates,etc.)
Monopoly- a company or group that has control, one business controls an industry and there are no competiton (ex. fur trading company)
Entrepreneur- a person who organizes and manages a business, goes into business for themselves and takes a risk (ex. Cornelius Vanderbilt, sean combs a.k.a diddy, etc.)
Corporation- big companies owned by stockholders, people who buy parts of a company
Capitalism- economic systems, which private businesses run out most industries
Robber Baren- entrepreneuers who cheated their way into becoming tycoons, a businessman who gain profits by unethical tactics, a negative nickname (ex. Rockefeller,carnegie, etc.)
Captain of industry- the head of a large business firm (ex. henry ford)
Union- joined or associated together, uniting two or more things

Social Darwinism- A businessman who became successful by legitimate ways and contributes to the good of others, a positive nickname: social darwinism applies to what we have been learning today because of survival of the fittest
If i were going into a business I would be a tycoon for social networks like facebook, but way better than it. it would be just like how people left myspace for facebook, but in my case they would be leaving facebook for my website. i think my website would be everything in one, like a twitter, aim, e-mail,your own website, etc.You would be able to do almost everything one this site from shoping to researching for your school paper. I would make search engines go down and they would be bankrupt, since my business would be a monopoly. i would be the most known person out there for the first teen with this such of a powerful website that is irresistible.
